Meridian Stress Assessment

The BioMeridian unit is an FDA approved Class II mediacal devise that applies a small amount of electricity (about as much as holding an AAA batery) to measure the amount of resisitance, or flow, through a specific organ system. That measurement can then be used to determine the state of tissues and cells within that system. Then a specific nutritional plan can be designed for your specific health needs.

Meridian Stress Assessment (MSA) is used to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of a person’s energetic health and balance. This process involves measuring electrical conductivity at responsive points (meridian points) on the skin - typically on the hands and feet. The locations of the test point generally corresponds to those of acupuncture points. These measurements are recorded to help provide a profile of a patient’s present condition.

After the initial measurements have been taken and recorded, the results can be reviewed. If stress values are above or below equilibrium, the System’s extensive computer database will allow consideration of a wide range of possiblities that might help the patient regain a healthy balance. The MSA allows consideration of thousands of herbal, homeopathic, and nutritional products.

Overall, an MSAS provides a completely non-invasive method for gaining valuable information about the body’s vital functions. The primary objective of this procedure is to disclose patterns of stress and to provide feedback for use in a progrma to help restore each system and meridian to an appropriate balance.

Meridian Systems Tested

  • Lung
  • Lymph
  • Heart
  • Liver
  • Skin
  • Gall Bladder
  • Endocrine
  • Circulation
  • Stomach
  • Metabolism
  • Joint
  • Nerve
  • Allergy
  • Kidney
  • Fatty Tissue
  • Large Intestines
  • Small Intestines
  • Pancreas/Spleen
  • Connective Tissue
  • Urinary Bladder

MSA is used to determine the next step:

  • Non-invasive sensitivity screening. NO scratch testing or injections are necessary.
  • Nutritional evaluations can help patients who are looking for nutritional balance.
  • Consider possible complementary approaches that may help a patient achieve a more balanced energetic state.
  • Identify specific dental and allergic stressors that might contribure to health problems.
  • Test for toxicity and drainage levels and their effects on energy and organ functions.
  • Help patients maintain the structural or functional integrity of important systems.
  • Suggest whether there is a condition present that may require traditional medical treatment.

What is a Meridian?

  • A system of energetic pathways which pass through tissues and organs
  • Each meridian associates to a particular organ or system, and the impedance level within that meridian usually correlates to the functional state of that organ or system.
  • Each meridian has multiple AcuPoints where impedance levels may be measured. These are the same points that have been used in Chinese Acupuncture for thousands for thousands of years to treat conditions of specific systems.
